Editorial policy

Last updated October 12, 2026

This page describes how the CryptoCraft editorial team prepares its materials and what guides it. We publish these rules so you can judge how far our information can be trusted.

Principles

  • The reader's benefit comes first. A material should help you understand, not push you toward a purchase.
  • Honesty about risks. A service's upsides are never described without its downsides and limitations.
  • Transparency. If we have a financial interest, we disclose it (see “Partnerships and advertising”).
  • No income promises. We do not forecast prices or name “guaranteed” profit.

How materials are prepared

  1. The author studies primary sources: a service's documentation, pricing and user agreements.
  2. Where possible, features are tested in practice.
  3. The text goes through editorial review for accuracy, clarity and correct wording.
  4. Materials about risks, financial products and contested questions get an additional check by a second specialist, whose name appears in the byline.

Independence of assessments

A service having an affiliate program does not guarantee it a high place in a collection. We compare services by the same criteria: security, terms and fees, convenience, support, and availability for Russian users. Affiliate compensation does not influence the content of an assessment.

Keeping materials current

Service terms change quickly, so we revise our materials and indicate the date of the update. An outdated material is supplemented or taken down.

Correcting mistakes

If you notice an inaccuracy, let us know through the “Contacts” section. We correct confirmed errors, and for substantial changes we note this in the text.

Authors

Every material carries a byline — an author or the editorial team. Information about authors is on their pages; for example, the editorial team page.

What we do not publish

  • hidden advertising without a label;
  • advice tailored to a specific individual;
  • materials calling for circumventing the law;
  • unverified rumors about projects and people.
